Capital Electra (Offline version) is an installable, desktop-based electrical engineering CAD software that is totally offline while Capital Electra X is a fully cloud-native electrical cad that requires an internet connection to allow features such as real-time collaboration and version control to function.

Will my drawings on Capital Electra X sync up with Capital Electra (Offline version) automatically?
No, as Capital Electra X and Capital Electra (Offline version) are two separate software. Capital Electra X is accessible via browser while Capital Electra (Offline version) is an installable software. You may however download the drawings from Capital Electra X and open them in Capital Electra (Offline version), and vice versa. With that, you may continue your work on Capital Electra (Offline version) even without internet access.
I am an Electra E8 (E7/E6) user, can I transfer my files/stencils to Capital Electra X or Capital Electra (Offline version)?
Yes, we have an importation tool ready to assist our loyal users to export their older drawings/stencils to the latest versions of Capital Electra X and Capital Electra (Offline version). Check out the help article here to get the tool and user manual. Kindly note that due to the differences in the programming language of our software on Visio, there are unfortunately some elements that are more difficult to cater to. For one Capital Electra Professional Plan license, only one user can access an account at one time.
What happens after payment is made?
You will receive an email with a download link attached, together with the serial number for activation. You will also receive an invoice for your purchase in the same email.
