More Symbols to Come with New Symbols Page
We are now part of Siemens’ family. Electra Cloud is now Capital Electra X and Electra E9 is now Capital Electra 2210.
Years ago, we launched Symbols page at symbols.radicasoftware.com as a side project of ours. Since then, its popularity has grown beyond our expectations.
Today, we're bidding goodbye to our classic 5-years-old symbols page:
And rolling out a brand new symbols page with a cleaner, simpler interface:
So why are we making this change? Why fix things if it doesn't break, you might ask.
It loads much faster
Gone are the days where you have to wait a few seconds for our symbols page to load. With the new redesign, we've optimized the page to be loading much faster than before, so you could navigate around much easier. Plus, it's mobile friendly!
Edit your symbols before downloading
You can build upon our existing symbols and make them your own before downloading them.
Simply click on Edit button, and you can easily modify the symbols as desired:
Like changing symbols orientation from vertical to horizontal:
Or changing its color:
Or changing text in the symbol:
More symbols upcoming!
Over the years, we've received many user emails requesting for more symbols. Unfortunately at times, our small and lean team has not got enough hands to work on them. Whenever we have some down time and want to add more symbols, we lost track of all the requests, which brings us to the third reason of redesigning the page - a new Symbols Request feature:
More symbols will be added based on incoming requests! With the new ‘Request Symbols' button, every request will be recorded into our internal database, and we'll get to them whenever we've got some down time.
We're excited to give a brand new life to our symbols site (hope you are too!), and we'll see where it lead us to! Our aim is to make this site a lively and ever-growing symbols library for engineers worldwide! We envisioned that some day, we can put up all the symbol requests publicly, and get help from our ever-growing visitors to contribute to this open-source library!
Oh, did I mention that we're open for collaboration? Calling upon all enthusiasts or manufacturers to connect with us, and let's build this library collectively.
So, what stays the same?
You can still get your free and nice-looking electrical, electronics, pneumatic, hydraulic symbols in PNG, JPG, DWG, DXF formats in our symbols page.
And, our love towards pretty electrical symbols has not changed since day one. We'll be releasing more professional-looking symbols in no time! Stay tuned!
