Improving the UI for Electra Options
We are now part of Siemens’ family. Electra Cloud is now Capital Electra X and Electra E9 is now Capital Electra 2210.
Now that Electra finally has our own platform based on Vecta.io, we are constantly searching for ways to improve, especially on the UI so that our users have a much better experience.
One of the updates we've done recently is improving Electra Options, which can now be found under File | Preferences. (Previously known as Document Options)
The intention is simple, to make the UI less cluttered and easier for engineers to access these settings, as they are now all located in one place, under File | Preferences.
What are Electra options?
Electra options allow engineers to have the flexibility to configure the vast majority of Electra's automated tools to your own custom preferences, including Smart numbering without Popups, Automatically adjust and straighten wires, and many more.
How to access Electra options?
- Select File | Preferences.
- Configure Electra tools according to your preference and requirements.
- To configure zones for your title block, click on the Location Tab.
