What is the difference between Capital Electra X & Capital Electra (offline version)?

Capital Electra (offline version) is an installable, desktop-based electrical CAD software that is completely offline. At the same time, Capital Electra X is a fully cloud-native electrical cad that requires an internet connection to allow features such as real-time collaboration and version control to function.

What happens after payment is made?

You will receive an email with a download link and the serial number for activation. You will also receive an invoice for your purchase in the same email.

How long will it take until I receive my order?

Orders are usually processed instantly once payment is completed. Sometimes, Paypal might hold the payment for 24 hours for review. If this occurs, users will be notified via email. The order will be processed immediately upon PayPal completing the review.

I am an Electra E8 (E7/E6) user - can I transfer my files/stencils to Capital Electra X or Capital Electra (offline version)?

Yes, we have an importation tool ready to assist our loyal users in exporting their older drawings/stencils to the latest versions of Capital Electra X and Capital Electra (offline version).

Can I still purchase an Electra E9 license?

No, the Electra E9 is no longer available. Active Electra E9 subscribers can continue to use the software without interruption. Users, however, can no longer purchase the Electra E9 license once they have unsubscribed. We strongly encourage engineers to incorporate Capital Electra X and/or Capital Electra (offline version) into their workflow for optimum productivity.

I am working in a large enterprise, can Capital Electra X or Capital Electra (offline version) be integrated into our workflow?

Yes, both software versions can be customized according to your company's needs and integrated into your workflow. Contact our sales team for more information.

What will happen if I don't renew my subscription?

Your files will remain accessible, and your account will be downgraded to a free plan. You can still perform minor text or graphical edits on your drawings, but Capital Electra X and Capital Electra (offline version) features, automation and functionalities will be unavailable.

Can I purchase a license on behalf of others?

Yes, you may purchase a license(s) for others, then grant the license to them in your account page. All you need is their email address to grant them access to the purchased license. Please note that the email address used to purchase will be the main email address to manage the license.

Do you have any plans for students/educators?

Yes, we do! Please reach us at support@radicasoftware.com and let us know your usage needs better. We'd be glad to make further arrangements for you.

What happens if my payment fails?

Our payment provider will automatically collect the payment again from your account in another five days. Meanwhile, you can still access and use all features as you'll be given a 7-day grace period. After the grace period, you will be automatically downgraded to the free plan if the payment still doesn't get through.

What happens if I cancel the authorized preapproved payment in PayPal?

We do not recommend canceling the authorized preapproved payment in PayPal as all subscriptions purchased using this PayPal account will be canceled. In the case of unsubscribing from Capital Electra X, please contact support@radicasoftware.com.

What is the difference between the trial version and the release version?

The trial version is limited to 30 days and will cease to function after the trial period. Files will still be accessible but without the automation tools.

What are your support hours?

A. Support Hours. Two sessions of Support are provided 5 days per week, in the below hours: 
(i) 8 am - 4 pm EDT/EST, from Monday to Friday. (ii) 7.30 pm – 4.30 am EDT/EST, from Monday to Friday.
